Omg. Stay away from this place. Went for a routine dental cleanup/checkup - I'm new to Houston and needed a new dentist. They refused to do my routine cleaning after making me wait 2 hours because they said I need a $250 (not covered by insurance) gum treatment and

then I would have to come back another day for my cleaning. Absolutely nuts. My mom is dental hygienist (in a different state) and my gums are fine. I just wanted the regular cleaning/check up! These people are crooks and will waste your time, then try to scam you. Seriously shut this place down. Criminals.

I used to go to Castle dental many many years ago and when I got a different insurance carrier, they were not wanted to providers. Recently, I got new insurance, and I noticed that they are one of the providers so I immediately called the office to see if I could

get an appointment in with the orthodontist. April answered the phone and was very nice and they actually had an appointment available that day so I went. Upon entering the building, I was spoke to by several different employees. After filling out the new patient form, I was then taken to the back by Tay to get x-ray images. She was a sweetheart as well and was very knowledgeable to make the process go smoothly. After Tay finished her job, I then got to meet Dr. Dang. He came in with good energy and gave me a great consultation. I decided to go ahead and get the services that day and everything went very smoothly as well. . A++++ service

Anderson Mill West, Cedar Park, TX 15 days ago for Castle Dental & Orthodontics in Round Rock, TX

Randy cleaned my teeth today as soon as I could drive over there from a horrible (yet again) experience at the Cedar Park location- and was awesome! I would go to Round Rock even though it's 25 min further out! They are put together and professional over there! Thank You!

(I have scheduled cleanings at the Cedar park location and they cancel over and over again. This time it was cancelled 3 times! No one answers the phone - you have to go UP THERE to reschedule. This time there was a very nice & caring admin working (wish I got her name) that overheard and said Randy at the Round Rock location may have an opening.)

DO NOT GO HERE. It is a sh*t show! I have been going there for a few years and it has gone so far downhill it can't go any farther! I have scheduled cleanings and they cancel over and over again. This time it was cancelled 3 times! No one

This time there was a very nice & caring admin working (wish I got her name) that overheard and said Randy at the Round Rock location may have an opening- he did-he cleaned my teeth as soon as I could drive over there and was awesome! Zero rating: They overcharge for services and services I didn't ask for. I had a crown fall out and went in for a new crown and a cleaning. They charged me before anything was done before the dentist even seen me. I did not agree on a x-ray that cost

more, charged me for extensive panoramic x-rays $168. I did not ask for oral hygiene instructions, they charged me $102. But they had already charged me prior to any of this was done. So they preauthorized any charges and charged me prior for them. I told them only do what my dental insurance will cover and only add the Florine treatment, which was only around $20 and I paid then for it. They never gave me an itemized receipt either. They just told me one would come in the mail after they filed with my dental insurance, which I never received anything in the mail from them. I've called numerous times and they won't return my calls. My dental insurance says they overcharged me and they owe me a refund.

The doctors and most medical staff here are always so nice however some of the receptionists (particularly this male receptionist maybe 20-30yr of age) always has an attitude. I've been going to this location for years for my bi-annual cleaning etc. but the last 3 times I've visited I have

just been shook with the customer service given at check in ( unwelcoming and irritated with the simplest tasks or questions.) I do consider changing practices with this type of customer service at check in. The wait time even when checking in earlier has led me to wait times between 45m-1.5 hr. Lastly they don't even have wifi for when there is unexpected really long wait times. But again I love my doctors here it's just the front desk that needs help and time management.

East Ridge, TN 16 days ago for Castle Dental & Orthodontics in Chattanooga, TN

Do NOT go here. I scheduled an appointment through Castle Dental's online portal because my original dentist randomly stopped taking United Healthcare. I called to make sure UHC was in network and scheduled/requested JUST a cleaning to be able to get my teeth cleaned before my insurance benefits turned over

for the year. Upon arriving, they asked for the usual insurance card, license, etc. Mind you - I only requested a CLEANING. I agreed to nothing else. After waiting a very long time, they take me back for annual x-rays, then tell me since this was scheduled as an emergency appointment, *hopefully* there will be a hygienist who can take me. Huh? None of this was discussed with me beforehand. I was told I had a cleaning appointment. I waited a very long time, but was finally seen by the hygienist. She was pleasant and cleaned my teeth. She recommended a $30+ mouthwash that I agreed to buy. At checkout, my total was $66+, which I thought was odd because I had very comprehensive dental care, and my cleanings everywhere else is free. I figured I was being charged the $29 new patient fee special, blah, blah - wasn't worth the hassle. So I paid. But now, I keep receiving and electronic e-mail for another $85 bill AFTER my insurance went through. They charged me for services I never requested nor agreed to. Don't bother calling, you will sit on-hold forever and no one will get back to you. There's no real e-mail address to contact them at and they don't respond to Better Business Bureau complaints. Worst dentist office I've ever dealt with
